On Monday, April 6, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00, the event "Technology Transfer: Designing the Next Steps in the Greek Ecosystem" will take place at ACE, Athens University of Economics and Business. The event is organized by Science Agora, in collaboration with the Technology Transfer Networks Γέφυρα Τεχνολογίας, Ρόμβος, SPEIRA+, TETRIS and WINET2, with the support of ΜΕΤΕΧ.
Institutional Framework, Common Standards, and Best Practices
Marking the completion of the term of the Sectoral Scientific Council for Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property, the event will present proposals for implementing the institutional framework, adopting common standards, and leveraging best practices in technology transfer. It will also highlight the perspective of venture capital funds on these issues, while addressing topics related to intellectual property management and, more broadly, research commercialization.
Technology Transfer Offices' Financing
The second part of the event will focus on Technology Transfer Offices financing. Representatives from all national Technology Transfer Networks will discuss funding needs and sources for technology transfer, the key challenges in securing resources, as well as best practices and policy measures to improve the financing of Technology Transfer Units/Offices. The event will conclude with an open discussion.
