The Technology Transfer Office of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB TTO) held an Information Day dedicated to innovation, technology transfer, and the journey from research to social and economic impact for the University's academic and research community members.

The event took place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the premises of AUEB's Technology Transfer and Innovation Unit (ACE). Its objective was to provide the University's researchers with an opportunity to meet the TTO team and learn about the services it offers.

During the event, participants were briefed on the following topics:
• The mission and services AUEB TTO and how it supports researchers in the promotion and commercial exploitation of their work,
• The mechanisms for Intellectual Property (IP) protection and the patenting processes,
• The Proof-of-Concept (PoC) programs and other funding pathways for validating research outcomes and assessing their commercial potential,
• The experiences of AUEB researchers who collaborated with the TTO and successfully transformed their research findings into innovations with real-world impact.

The Information Day was implemented within the framework of the action "Technology Transfer Empowerment Network – Science Agora."
