The Technology Transfer Office of the Athens University of Economics and Business<\/strong><\/a> (AUEB TTO) held an Information Day dedicated to innovation, technology transfer, and the journey from research to social and economic impact for the University's academic and research community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event took place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025,<\/strong> at the premises of AUEB's Technology Transfer and Innovation Unit (ACE<\/strong>). Its objective was to provide the University's researchers with an opportunity to meet the TTO team and learn about the services it offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, participants were briefed on the following topics:
\u2022 The mission and services<\/strong> AUEB TTO and how it supports researchers in the promotion and commercial exploitation of their work,
\u2022 The mechanisms for Intellectual Property (IP) protection<\/strong> and the patenting processes<\/strong>,
\u2022 The Proof-of-Concept (PoC) programs<\/strong> and other funding pathways<\/strong> for validating research outcomes and assessing their commercial potential,
\u2022 The experiences of AUEB researchers<\/strong> who collaborated with the TTO and successfully transformed their research findings into innovations with real-world impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Information Day was implemented within the framework of the action \"Technology Transfer Empowerment Network \u2013 Science Agora.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
